Parking - Parking is always tight. If possible, please carpool with others. Ramsey County Beach has a large parking lot. When that fills, park on roads around the park. Please do not park in anyones driveway or where it is posted not parking.

County Cycle is providing all the biking services for the Dog Gone Triathlon Series this year and we encourage you to support them whenever possible

Wednesday, July 4th

Transition opens at 6:15 a.m. Please be as quiet as possible since this event is in a community neighborhood.  Thanks Bike racks will already be set up and are on a first come basis
6:30 a.m. Registration/packet pickup begins Pick up your number, chip and shirt at the registration table
7:30 a.m. First wave starts

Wave times and catigories will be determined by Monday, July 2nd

Approx. 10:00 a.m. Awards  
  All Day - Stay and enjoy the park.  Fireworks at 10:00 p.m.

Event Information

Transition Area - For safety and security, only competitors are allowed in the transition area.  Riding your bike is not allowed in the transition area.  Everyone must wear an approved bike helmet.  Bike helmets must always be buckled. No bikes will be allowed to be removed from the transition area until all bikes are off the course. The transition area will be tight so please respect others in the transition area.

The Swim – The swim will be out and back.  The course is a 1/3 mile clockwise loop. Swim caps are provided and color coded for each wave.  There will be boats about and Lifeguards on kayaks there for your safety.  If you need to rest, let a lifeguard know.  You will not be penalized for resting.

The Bike - The Bike course is a 14 milesout and back from White Bear to Withrow Elementary School.  The bike course is not a closed course to traffic. There will be Police and Volunteers at the major corners but we ask that you use caucion throughout. Safety first!   Drafting is not allowed.  Helmets must be worn throughout the entire bike course.

The Run – The 3 mile run is out and back on Lake Ave.  The City on White Bear is currently working on Lake Ave towards the turn around point so wherewe turn around could change betwen now and raceday.

Awards - will be presented to the top three in each age group Elites, Clydesdale, Athena and team. Age Groups( men and women): 19 and under, 20-24, 25 -29, 30-34, 35 -39, 40-44, 45 - 49, 50-54, 54 - 59, 60-64, 65 - 69, 70 and above. Teams include male, female and coed.

Teams - Teams are always welcome and encouraged. Find some friends that will compliment your strengths. Teams can be mixed(at least one female), male or female. If you don't have a team, let us know and we will try to help you find one.

Clydesdale/Athena - Men weighing 200 lbs. plus and women weighing 145 lbs. plus are qualified to enter the Clydesdale/Althena Division.

Elite and Clydesdale/Althena division athletes are not eligible for age group awards. Elite Athletes will be the first wave to start the race
